Sinotrans Container Line is a part of Chinas largest shipping and logistics company Sinotrans Limited. Sinotrans Limited is the only Chinese shipping and logistics company to hold AAAAA rating by the Logistic standard committee of China.

 

There are over 100,000 staff, 1000 offices, 5 million sqm of warehouse, 3000 thousand trucks, 18 million dwt of shipping assets, 20 container terminals, and also Chinas largest barge operators owned by the group.

 

In April 2008 Sinotrans Container Line committed one vessel of five and with partners formed a weekly fixed day service  to/fm Korea - China – Taiwan – Australia service “CKA”. There are also transhipment services to Japan, Vietnam, and Philippines

 

In 2009 the Sinotrans Container Line increased its commitment to the Australia trade by adding an extra vessel to the service and later also increasing the size and teu capacity committed to the “CKA service.
