PFL Trade Notice: Tauranga Port Infrastructure & Insurance Levy Charge
Dear Valued Customers,
We wish to advise that Port of Tauranga (POT) are implementing a Port Infrastructure & Insurance Levy charge from 15th July 2022.
These levies will be invoiced to the shipping line and thus will become a standard local additional charge for all full containers moving through Tauranga Port.
The new Port Infrastructure & Insurance Levy Charge will be effective from 15th July 2022 at the following amount:

PFL Trade Notice: PFL Network Update
Dear Valued Customers,
Given the recent network changes announced on the New Zealand to Fiji trade. Pacific Forum Line has worked to provide additional capacity in order to satisfy demand. This has meant that further temporary adjustments are required on our wider network. They are as follows:
Fiji – From September the Capitaine Baret will be deployed into the South Pacific on a New Zealand – French Polynesia – Fiji rotation
Tonga/Samoa/American Samoa – The changes to the Tahiti service mean that Tonga will be serviced by the Capitaine Kupe on an Apia – Pago Pago – Nuku’alofa rotation
These changes will be reflected in this week’s schedules.

PFL Trade Notice: Bunker Adjustment Factor Surcharge Effective 15th of July 2022
Dear Valued Customers,
Pacific Forum Line wishes to advise the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) Surcharge applicable on all shipment’s effective 15th of July 2022.
Notes:
• Reefers: to be applied at a trade coefficient of 1.5 per TEU of dry, or USD936 per TEU
• Pacific Forum Line reserves the right to review the LSFO surcharge monthly, following market bunker price fluctuations
• BAF for Asia/Europe/Africa/Americas to & from the Pacific Islands and NZ to Cook Island trade is communicated separately

PFL Trade Notice: Bunker Adjustment Factor Surcharge Effective 1st of July 2022
Dear Valued Customers,
Pacific Forum Line wishes to advise the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) Surcharge applicable on all shipment’s effective 1st of July 2022. After a period of relative stability, bunker rates have become particularly volatile over the past week and Pacific Forum Line will continue to review bunker pricing fortnightly. Current BAF rates that are effective 16th of June will however be extended for a further fortnight through to 15th July.

• Pacific Forum Line reserves the right to review the LSFO surcharge monthly, following market bunker price fluctuations

PFL Trade Notice: Australia to Pacific Islands – General Rate Increase (GRI)
Dear Valued Customers,
To maintain our regular shipping services to and from Pacific Islands freight rates will increase from the 1st of July 2022.
The increase will be applied on top of current freight rates at the following amount and will be applied to cargo from Australia to the following Pacific Islands - Fiji, Samoa, American Samoa, Tonga and Cook Islands.
• USD$250 / 20’ container
• USD$500 / 40’ container
