Please be advised that Fiji Ports, Fiji Revenue and Customs Service, and Biosecurity Authority Fiji have issued a joint public notice requiring that all import and export containers moving through Fiji ports must be presented with an intact seal. A copy of the official notice can be viewed below or accessed here.

In line with this requirement, PFL now requires that all containers carried on our vessels to and from Fiji, or via transshipment, must have an intact seal. This is effective immediately.

Please be aware that the Fiji authorities’ container seal requirement is not limited to a specific seal type.

To ensure we are compliant with the above, and as part of our ongoing commitment to cargo security and supply chain integrity, we are reviewing our corporate requirements for container seal security. This includes assessing how we can better safeguard your cargo as it moves across our network. We will clearly communicate any policy changes once they have been finalised in the coming weeks.
